中心簡介

實(shí)驗(yàn)室介紹

Yun實(shí)驗(yàn)室團(tuán)隊(duì)以蠑螈為模型系統(tǒng),致力于揭示器官再生的細(xì)胞與分子機(jī)制,解析演化差異對再生潛能的影響,并探索再生與衰老的深層關(guān)聯(lián)。我們采用兩種具有基因操作可行性的蠑螈模型——墨西哥鈍口螈(美西螈,Ambystoma mexicanum)和西班牙肋突螈(Pleurodeles waltl),這兩種生物以極強(qiáng)的再生能力和幾乎可以忽略的衰老特征而著稱。通過整合前沿遺傳學(xué)技術(shù)、細(xì)胞分子生物學(xué)方法、先進(jìn)成像系統(tǒng)、多組學(xué)分析與跨物種比較研究,我們致力于揭示再生與衰老的基本規(guī)律,推動(dòng)基礎(chǔ)研究與治療應(yīng)用。

實(shí)驗(yàn)室管理員

我們正在為新建實(shí)驗(yàn)室招募一名技術(shù)嫻熟的科研管理人員。

一、崗位職責(zé)

1. 設(shè)備、試劑及實(shí)驗(yàn)室耗材的采購與管理;

2. 庫存維護(hù)與檔案記錄;

3. 常規(guī)設(shè)備維護(hù)及實(shí)驗(yàn)室日常運(yùn)營;

4. 新成員實(shí)驗(yàn)技術(shù)與設(shè)備操作培訓(xùn);

5. 協(xié)助動(dòng)物實(shí)驗(yàn)倫理審批及許可證辦理;

6. 開展基礎(chǔ)分子/細(xì)胞生物學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)、圖像采集與數(shù)據(jù)分析;

7. 參與合作研究并獨(dú)立承擔(dān)課題。

二、任職要求

1. 分子生物學(xué)、生物化學(xué)或相關(guān)專業(yè)學(xué)位;

運(yùn)用前沿分子生物學(xué)技術(shù)開展相關(guān)研究。

ABOUT CIMR

Chinese Institutes for Medical Research (CIMR), Beijing(首都醫(yī)學(xué)科學(xué)創(chuàng)新中心)is a research organization dedicated to advancing basic and translational medical research. Our goal is to tackle fundamental problems in human health with cutting-edge technology and through interdisciplinary collaborations with world-class scientists and physicians in Beijing. ABOUT YUN LAB

The Yun group leverages salamander systems in order to unveil the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying organ regeneration, determine how phylogenetic changes affect regenerative potential, and probe the links between regeneration and ageing. We employ two genetically-tractable salamander models, the axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum) and the Iberian ribbed newt (Pleurodeles waltl), known for their extreme regenerative abilities and negligible senescence traits. Combining state-of-the-art genetics, cell and molecular biology approaches, advanced imaging, multiomics and cross-species comparative studies, we aim to uncover fundamental principles of regeneration and ageing towards basic and therapeutic applications. The successful candidates will benefit from our large network of collaborations (Germany, UK, USA) and have immediate opportunities to contribute to international projects. Our lab is located at the newly built Institute for Regenerative Biology and Medicine, Chinese Institutes for Medical Research.

Lab Manager

We are seeking a skilled scientist to manage our newly established laboratory.

Main Responsibilities

a. Order equipment, reagents and lab consumables.

b. Maintain lab stocks and records.

c. Maintain general lab equipment and organisation.

d. Train new staff on common lab techniques and equipment.

e. Assist with animal protocols and licenses.

f. Perform basic molecular/cell biology, image acquisition and data analysis.

g. Conduct research collaboratively as well as independently.

Qualifications

Candidates will have a degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related subject, experience with general lab management and a strong background on molecular biology approaches including cloning, gene editing, cell culture, microscopy (e.g. confocal, stereo-fluorescence and/or light sheet), tissue processing including preparation, sectioning and staining techniques (e.g. immunostainings IHC/IF and standard/HCR in situ hybridization). Experience in animal research and transgenesis is desirable. Soft skills include outstanding organisational skills, keen attention to details and fluency in spoken and written English.

Molecular Biology Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Molecular Biologist to join our efforts to unravelling the links between regeneration and ageing. He/she will conduct research collaboratively as well as independently.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong background on molecular biology approaches including state-of-the-art gene editing, cloning methods, CRISPR/Cas-9 technologies, mTol2 or equivalent systems, animal transgenesis, cell culture, tissue processing including preparation, sectioning and staining techniques (immunostainings IHC/IF and standard/HCR in situ hybridization). Prior experience with regeneration models and/or surgical procedures is a bonus. Soft skills include keen attention to details and fluency in spoken and written English.

Bioinformatician

We are seeking a highly motivated bioinformatician to join our efforts to unravelling the links between regeneration and ageing.

Main Responsibilities

a. Design and conduct bioinformatic analyses of data at single cell and bulk level, including transcriptomic, epigenetic (e.g. DNAm arrays, genomic data) and proteomic datasets, including mRNA sequencing data generated via the 10XMultiome workflow and Illumina sequencing.

b. Conduct cross-species single cell analyses.

c. Analyse and interpret spatial transcriptomics.

d. Contribute to hypothesis generation, experimental design, analytical pipeline documentation, research presentations and manuscript preparation.

e. Provide training/guidance to other team members.

f. Balance independent work and team collaboration.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a degree in bioinformatics or a related field, strong theoretical knowledge and experience in bioinformatics, particularly single cell data and spatial transcriptomics analyses. Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Prior experience in the fields of Regeneration, Aging or Evolutionary biology is a bonus.

Postdoctoral Researcher

We are seeking outstanding, highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join our efforts to unravelling the links between regeneration and ageing.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Computational Biology or related, an outstanding academic track record, and fluency in spoken and written English. A strong background and research experience in Regenerative, Ageing, Developmental or Evolutionary Biology is desirable. Ideally, candidates would be trained in animal experimentation (not exclusive), tissue culture, bioinformatics and cell/molecular biology techniques.
